Stepped onto the patio, looked down and saw this. "Is it?", I said. "Or is it a Paseo and the lighting is playing tricks on me? Is that a for sale sign in the window!?"
Went down, and sure enough...Toyota Sera.
70K km. Interior was great, but the paint and trim were rough.
Only damage. Looks like something fell on it.
The owner approached, and we chatted a bit. He threw me a number.
What would you guys pay?

I have no idea where to start, I've never seen another to go off of. Weren't these only sold in Japan?

anywhere between 5k-7k is where they are selling for in canada. 5-6 years ago they were between 8k-10k.
how much was he asking for it?

That's what I thought. Guy said Australia too.
Because of the shared mechanicals with the Paseo, I thought that might be an okay place to start. But beyond that I'm lost.
Pleasant color. Toyota. Cool commuter car if reasonably cheap.

I drove one maybe... 6 years ago, wasn't too impressed with the handling or speed.. but those things can be fixed with a little bit of work.
